MOLICEIRO BOAT TOUR

Canal Central

Located in the historic center, the Central Canal is a crucial passage point to discover the city’s dynamics. From the Art Nouveau façades, to the Museum, commerce, gastronomy and leisure, this canal has always played a fundamental role in the city’s life.

Cojo Canal

Following the Central Canal, we take you to Lago da Fonte Nova, where the Aveiro Congress Center is located, surrounded by large commercial spaces, the market, leisure and sports areas.

S. Roque Canal

This canal bathes the typical area of the city, the Bairro da Beira-Mar. Passing under several bridges, you can see the old palheiros (facades), where the salt brought from the sea by the salt boats was stored.

Pyramids Canal

Flanked by Rossio park and passing alongside the Ponte de S.João, this canal leads us to the pyramids (from the 18th century) and to the passage area that gives access to the outer canal of the Ria. You can see one of the seascapes, the Ecomuseum, where you can still observe the traditional method of salt production.
